Outreach
Researchers connected with the Centre were involved in a variety of outreach activities, including blogs, broadcasting and public talks. We also visited schools (by invitation) to talk about aspects of our work and ran schools events on related themes at the University of St Andrews.
The following give a flavour of some of our public engagement work:
- “Symposium literature in the Roman Empire” (Prof. Jason König)
- “Frontinus: Roman author and statesman” (Dr Alice König)
- “Pliny the Younger” (Radio 4 – In Our Time)
- “Ancients Anonymous” (Dr Tom Geue)
- “The Poetics of Rome’s Punic Wars” (Dr Thomas Biggs)
